In the heart of France! The Region is the Rhone Alpes and the Department is the Loire. We are very close to the border with the Auvergne Region.

To complicate matters a little, the area is also known as the Monts Du Forez and is often referred to as being in the Massif Centrale of France!

• Easyjet fly to Lyon which is approximately 1 hour 30 minutes from us.
  
• Ryanair fly to Grenoble Airport this is approximately 2 hours from Chez-Elles. Check out flights at www.ryanair.com  or click on the button at the bottom of the page 
  
• You can also fly to Lyon airport from Stansted, Gatwick, Manchester, Heathrow, Birmingham, Doncaster, Bournemouth, Coventry and other UK airports, There are daily flights, check these out on www.easyjet.com , www.thomsonfly.com,  www.ryanair.com, www.ba.com or click on the links on the left. It takes approx 1hr 30 mins to drive to us from Lyon
  
• Driving takes time, approx 7 hours from Calais but plenty of people have done it and enjoyed seeing lots of France en-route
  
• Car Hire is available from St Etienne, Lyon and Grenoble Airports, ALWAYS book this on line before arriving in France--Hertz, Europcar, National Citer and Budget are all available.
  
• Just a word of warning if you think oh yes I'll go to Chez-Elles and I think that I will pop down to Monte Carlo for the afternoon as it is only an inch away on the map… France is huge and what looks like a quick drive invariably is not!
